Cheesemonger Course

Learn from master cheesemonger, Thomas Perriard. After studying cheese across Europe, Thomas has arrived in San Francisco to share his love with Bay Area locals. Guests will learn how to put together imaginative cheese plates, how to classify, store and prepare different cheeses. The course will cover all the cheesemonger essentials, such as milk types, rind washes and wine pairings. You will leave this course with tons of new found knowledge on the cheese world and get to taste rare cheeses from around the globe.

Healthy Happy Hour

A healthy spin on the traditional happy hour. The Castro’s one and only Brazilian market is Bebe Bar is showcasing their fresh pressed juices by crafting them into delicious cocktails! Jam-packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber, phytonutrients and a hit of vodka. Dip your feet into the juicing cleanse, by tasting these bright and flavorful juices. The event will be hosted by store owner Celinha, who will bring stories of her time in Brazil and amazing gluten free Brazilian treats to transport you to Latin America.

Farmer’s Market Chef’s Table

Saturday, September 26, 6:00pm

A local food journey, highlighting the season’s bounty, put on by husband and wife team, Chef’s Dustin and Kristin Stewart. The couple met while studying at Le Cordon Bleu and came together over their love of food and each other. They are now sharing their passion with the community. Their Chef’s Table menu, will be an intimate gathering featuring the day’s farmer’s market finds. Chef Dustin will bring guests into his cooking process, sharing his thought process for each dish and incorporating opinions from guests, for a truly memorable and communal dining experience.
